Graphic Designer

We're Tropic Square, a Prague-based company designing open-source secure-element chips.

We're looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to join us long-term. Someone who can create the right visual impact for the right audience, whether that's an engineer evaluating our chip, a partner, or an investor.

If you can show strong design work across both print and digital, and AI is already a natural part of how you design, we'd like to hear from you.

👉 What You'll Do

Your work will shape how people perceive Tropic Square across every touchpoint of the customer and investor journey.

• Own the creation and delivery of visual assets for the marketing, business and product teams across channels - social creatives, website visuals, newsletters, and print and event material
• Turn complex technical concepts into clear visuals: technical diagrams, security flows, timelines, datasheets, one-pagers, and comparison graphics that hold up in front of an expert audience
• Proactively improve workflows, tools and AI integrations to scale output smarter, not just faster - templates, guides, asset libraries
• Use AI for motion and 3D if needed: chip and package renders, animated explainers, product visuals

💪 About You

• You have proven experience as a graphic designer and you know what makes a great visual
• You have experience with creating visuals across various advertising and social media networks
• You're someone who can work with a creative brand concept and reflect that into all aspects of our visual and motion assets
• You’re a team player who understands the importance of setting and working towards common goals
• You have an interest in AI generative tools and new technologies in general
• You can speak English - our company is international and it’s our lingua franca!
• You should be excited to learn and improve continuously

👌 Tools & Capabilities

You should be comfortable with or curious to learn:

• Core craft: strong hands-on skills in Figma AND/OR the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• AI design tools fluency: AI features inside those suites, and tools beyond them — generative image and diagram tools, generative vector, quick web prototyping. We don't expect you to know all the tools. We care that you know which tool to reach for when needed and why
